The Story of IronFox Farm
There once was a vacant lot for sale. A couple in the neighborhood would walk past and dream of the wonderful opportunities and bountiful harvest this land could provide. Wide-eyed and hopeful, they could barely believe when their offer was graciously accepted. Their dream became a reality!
Why “IronFox Farm”?
Before embarking on this adventure in urban agriculture, founders Megan (Eisenbeis) & Dan (Vos) planned to combine their last names in marriage.
“Eisen” = “Iron”, “Vos” = “Fox”
Mission Statement
“IronFox Farm aims to empower children and the community by providing an educational gardening space to learn about plants, flowers, soil health, pollinators, fruits, and vegetables.”
Friends of IronFox Farm
IronFox Farm has established a partnership with Eugene Field Elementary A+ (EFA+) to provide garden plots and educational lessons to elementary school students in the spring and fall.
